Our anaglyph cardboard glasses (magenta and green) will work with the DVD/Blu-ray which is to be released shortly and will come with its own cardboard anaglyph glasses. | | • | These are not the glasses that were used in the theaters for the Journey Movie. Those were black framed grey lenses that are polarized and will not work for the DVD. | | • | There is no DVD - only the special glasses |

journey 3D glasses do the job December 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
just got my 3 pair today and gave them a try. Saw the movie at the theater with the grey lenses and it was better than these, but these get the job done. I've seen reviews that complain about the color these provide and that the user removed them in favor of 'just watching the movie'. Watching a 3D movie without the right glasses is annoying. I would agree that the color suffers but the 3D effect is right on. The red/blue glasses don't work and the grey glasses used at the theaters also don't work but these do. The effect is worth the 6 bucks for 3 pair, as a matter of fact I'm ordering more. If you like 3D, get a set, sit back, forget about the color issues and enjoy the effects; if color is what you're looking for watch the 2D version; you'll be missing the thrills this movie provides.
The EXACT same glasses that come with the 3D Blu-ray DVD November 13, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you want to show "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in 3D to more than 4 people, then you'll definitely want to pick up a few extra pairs of glasses while they are still available. They are the same cardboard glasses with the Green & Magenta lenses that come with the DVD. These are NOT hard plastic ploarized glasses like you pay an extra two dollars for at the movie theater. Those glasses won't work for watching the DVD in 3D anyway. I gave them 5 stars because they ARE the EXACT same ones that come with the DVD and NOT knock offs like some sellers on eBay are trying to pawn off.
