Product Description Complete with weird baby names, tips on how to avoid a sympathetic pregnancy, and a discourse on the evolution of ESPN and the role it plays postdelivery, Hill's tome has been thoroughly revised to account for not only the usual father-to-be questions but also the often baffling and amusing technological and medical advances awaiting today's four million expectant dads. This hilarious month-by-month guide offers new and veteran dads solace, laughter, and a bit of useful information, including a question-and-answer chapter covering basics like "How much does having a baby cost?"; visual charts assessing such things as the breakdown behind the mom-to-be's weight gain; sidebars covering common wife complaints and anticipated purchases; and much more.

Funny But More is Needed January 6, 2009 Hill provides a very funny step by step look at the world of pregnancy but he stops a bit too soon for my liking. The majority of the book deals with the period up to the birth and that is great. When he gets to the first few weeks after the birth at page 115, it is quite short. A little more is devoted to life with the baby but I was again wanting more.
While this is a funny book that does help lighten the seriousness that first time parents feel, I thought that The Dysfunctional Father's Guide to Pregnancy Birth and Babies gave me a bit more. That book covers a much wider period of time going up to the "disaster" of the first birthday party. Before that, we learn about attempts to lose the weight gained during pregnancy, fun ways fathers can employ to avoid odious chores and more than we want to know about circumcision and vasectomies.
Both books together provide a comprehensive look at this exciting period in the life of couples.

When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads December 20, 2008 Great service, I had a question and was answered the next day. The delivery was on time and the book in a better condition than expected. A very professional supplier.
What to Expect when your wife is expanding July 31, 2008 My husband hated this book. He said the author made it sound like everything was a big joke. He stopped reading it about half way through. What a disappointment.
My Husband Loved it June 3, 2008 My Husband loved this book, I would recommend it for any husband of an expacantent wife!!
Okay May 29, 2008 My mate enjoyed it, but when you want your man to be compassionate about your every ache and pain, don't let him read this, as he will say. "Oh, they said you would complain about that!" Get your mate to sign up for babycenter emails instead, they will keep him well informed of your baby's development and what you are going through. Then he will lend a knowledgable and loving ear to your aches and pains.
The item was shipped promptly from the vendor.
