Durable work coat June 7, 2006 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have had this coat for quite sometime, years that is. It's in the green (spruce) color and has held up well to me. It survived 5 years on an industrial construction project in rain, sleet, snow, wind, against not only the elemnts but welding, carpentry, conrete finishing and placement, pipe fitting, and countless othe activities. The sleeve edges and bottom edge of the coat has started to fray, but I am still extremely happy with it, well worth the money I spent. Now that my job is supervision, I mainly use it for hunting and hiking, and it has with stood that great. comfortable, flexible, and handles most weather. it is not water proof, but it does take some time before the rain gets through the outside and then the lining. If you work in the elements and need a coat that you can really work in this is it.
