 Durable, comfortable, and stays up! December 21, 2008
My daughter attends a Jr. High school that requires students to wear uniforms. We visited over 10 retail stores looking for the "perfect sock" to wear with her skirts. We purchased a few pairs, but after either washing or wear, they all failed either the "stay up" test or the durablility test. I came to Amazon and ordered a few different brands in search of the elusive "perfect sock". This brand turned out to be the holy grail. They are attractive enough to please her (not too thick and wooly looking) and stay up without constant maintenance. I like them because they last without developing piles and are easily matched up. I recommend them highly!
 Good for a thinner sock December 13, 2008
These are not thick socks but they are snug and the material is quality. I ordered 4 black pairs and 1 white. The black pairs fit well. Thumbs up! I was hoping for thicker socks but these are nice. The white however was way too small. It's more for an elementary school kid than my size 7 1/2 foot. Definitely not a "Women's Sock" even though it's labeled as such. Default exchange was "my fault." If I wanted a refund (exchange not offered) then I get to pay return shipping. Figuring out how to contact Amazon to work this out was a challenge but I finally found a link to contact them. I couldn't even explain how to find that link again! So, good luck. I shop Amazon frequently but you can really run into a brick wall when trying to deal with Amazon directly. Their many merchants who have store fronts that actually communicate with you over issues are great. But Amazon itself? Very difficult. So, I give the socks a 4+ but the ease of return/exchange a so-so. Great service after you figure out how to contact Amazon. If you are a woman with size 5 shoe or bigger (unless you're very petite or have very short calves!), then don't order White.
Great fit December 3, 2008
I wear a size 9 shoe and have trouble finding knee socks that are long enough but these are long enough and they stay up without cutting off my circulation. Good quality sock not extremely thick which is just what I was looking for.

This sock fit well and I was impressed with the quality of the material used for the sock. It is holding up nicely after many washings.

I've only worn the socks twice but so far they seem nice and stretchy and they stay up well.
