They're pretty good for the price October 30, 2008
After reading such a harsh previous comment I was hesitant in making the purchase, but I'm glad I did. I ordered a size 4 and they fit me perfectly, they're stretchy, nice chocolate color velvet. Certainly they don't look as good as the $165 pants I wanted to buy, but considering the retail price of $30, I'd say the quality is good for the price.

Very Cheap Fabric & Construction March 21, 2008

I bought several things from Newport News, including the Extra-long tunic shirt, that although it was 1 size larger than I normally wear (size 12), was tight and pulling on me when I moved. These "jeans" barely have any spandex in them and therefore are unyielding and unflattering. Be warned this is a very high-waisted pant with stiff, unluxurious velvet. I don't know how they got it to look so good in the picture! Don't waste your time and money buying these (I was stuck with close to $20 in shipping & return shipping fees). You'd be far better off buying something at Ross or Kmart for half the price and half the expectations.
