Disappointing For The Price January 3, 2009 To start, I wear a 36G (in non-nursing sizes, so in this bra I'd wear a 36H). My size is VERY hard to find. I usually end up compromising with a 38DDD or a 40DDD. I thought I'd try this bra because they had a 36H.
Its itchy, definitely not cotton. Its very tight, which is very bad if you are breastfeeding! The 36 part fits me great but the cup is tight and feels terrible on me. It is very supportive, yes, but maybe a little too much so. It reminds me of wearing a minimizer. The seams in the cup are irritating. The band around the sides/back is pretty wide, feels like its in my armpits. The straps are wide but the wide part does not sit on my shoulders, the pressure spot is on the thin part of the strap and its very uncomfortable.
In summary, this bra works as a bra, is supportive, but is very uncomfortable for me.
happy mama September 29, 2008 This bra is one of the best nursing bras I've tried. It provides a lot of support and wears well under clothing. I feel like I've lost 10 lbs when I wear it. If you are large busted and like minimizing bras, this is the one. The band size is smaller but bras will stretch. I ordered my regular size. Also, the clasps are easy to open/close.
Very supportive, not comfortable September 10, 2008 This bra is very supportive, which is the main feature I was looking for since I have large chested. But I returned it b/c of two things: It has absolutely no elastic in the whole bra, so nothing about the bra is stretchy, making it pretty uncomfortable. It was pretty tight on me, but I was okay with that b/c it supported me so well, but when I tried laying down or pulling the cup down to nurse, the lack of give in the bra caused it to dig into my shoulders and ribs too much. Also, the main reason I ordered it was b/c it showed extra supportive shoulder straps, but the bra I received did not have those padded supportive shoulder straps, and the skinny straps dug into my shoulders and put too much weight onto my shoulders, making it uncomfortable that way too.
Fantastic support, but snug, so order correct size! August 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent bra. I'm a size F and this bra holds the puppies up very well, and is very sturdy. It washes well (in the dryer as well), it looks good under my clothes and works great for nursing. I've owned it for several months now and it is my favorite nursing bra. Excellent support, looks nice....but make sure you buy the correct band size as it is a bit snug around (order the largest size you currently wear), and there really isn't much give. I usually wear a 40 or 42 and getting a 42 was the way to go. You won't be disappointed with this bra :)
Best Nursing Bra Ever!!! July 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I grew from a small B cup pre-pregnancy to a full F by the 4th month of pregnancy. I was miserable in the bras I found that fit me but reluctant to go without an underwire. This bra is a life saver! It is supportive, looks great under almost anything and really makes me feel less frumpy overall! The seams can show under really clingy fabrics but the support is worth it! I had to get a 36 as opposed to a 34, but still- love this bra!
