Customer Reviews:
live in these in the summer August 20, 2008 I walk to work and go through a pair of these a year. My experience is they are comfortable to walk in 1/2 mile increments (I am picky about this and use extra thick jell inserts in my walking shoes in the winter). They do wear out in about a year if you walk a lot on streets and in a warmer weather area. Cheaper varieties are annoying.

It's like wearing sandals made of steel -- they are inflexible, uncomfortable, bite into the instep and make you walk like Boris Karloff in "Frankenstein." Columbia Sportswear should be ashamed of itself.

Love the comfort but I am accustomed to Birkenstock sandals.Got these to use as I am walking our two Labs.My only comment has to do with the ankle strap. It's comfortable ,yet I wish it were not there. I do think these sandals are worthy of a favorable recommendation WT
