Deer Stags Men's Creek Moc Toe Oxford Brown 13M July 21, 2008 I have had these for just 5 weeks now and paid 17.99 for size 13M with free supersaver delivery since it was part of an Amazon order over $25. They are very comfortable and the sole appears to be quite nice and I have been complemented on their appearance. However, after just 5 weeks the stitching that holds the toe top to the side strips is beginning to break and unravel - I wonder whether I will even get another couple of months out of these. I have bought similar shoes at Wal-Mart and Payless in the past and was unhappy with these as well - next time I will go to the mall and try to find something in my size and pay 50-$75. "You get what you pay for comes to mind" now. My main incentive for writing this review is seeing that the price on these is now almost 3 times higher - in my opinion $50 should be able to buy a more durable and thus a higher quality shoe. You may well get a better shoe elsewhere.
OK - for work June 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These looked as image implies. So far only an OKAY from me. The toes fit too close but after some wear I hope they'd adjust nicely. a little on the weighty side but good sole comfort! Only worth the sale price given the detailed issues.

Material is man-made and cheap. These are the type of shoes you can buy at Payless or Walmart. Save your money and get something a little nicer.
Very Comfortable February 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had read the brags from Deer Stags about their S.U.P.R.O. sock (the removable inner sole). When I noticed a pair of Deer Stags on sale for 18 bucks at Amazon I decided to give them a try. Deer Stags has a right to brag about that sock. These are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've had on my feet. I can stand in these shoes all day and the bottom of my feet feel like early morning. They felt a little strange for the first few steps, very cushioned, but you'll get over that quickly when you realize how comfortable these shoes are.
The leather finish is superb. Stiching superb. Soles seem to be sturdy and certainly have a good grip. The laces, like so often is the case, are so so. I like the shoe. I recommend giving them a try.
Great shoes! But... November 7, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are very comfortable shoes. I don't shine my shoes, so I don't know wether they keep a shine. The soles are so comfortable I'm buying a similar pair (Path style) that use the S.U.P.R.O. Sock technology (inner sole).
But I bend my feet walking and sometimes sitting, so the rubber outer sole cracked all the way through! Mind you cracking soles has happened to other shoes I wear. Usually I get through one year before this happens. It wasn't ten months before it happened in this shoe.
I still recommend it. This shoe is too comfortable to not recommend. Come to the comfort!
