not my favorite but still a good shoe January 6, 2009 This is a nice sandal but I like the Teva Olowahu style best. The straps seem adjustable but they just slide right back to where they were to begin with. I have narrow feet so that may be why it doesnt stay put. Overall not a bad sandal maybe for someone with reg. or wide width feet but I wouldnt buy them again.
Sizing November 12, 2008 I normally wear 8.5 or even 9 so was nervous when I ordered these in size 8. The footbed is relatively narrow and my feet are not, but these still fit comfortably. The mush sole is a lovely Teva specialty and the strap is soft as well. I'm glad I ordered an 8 because the sole is longer than my feet by about 1/2 an inch. I haven't worn them very long yet but so far am happy with how the look, feel, and fit. Sorry if my review and the other sizing review make it a confusing issue! I'd say if you have size 9 Teva Mush flip flops and they seem large, then go with the 8.
Comfortable and supportive November 12, 2008 These are a great every day sandle that have a good arch support. I like the way they look as well as how they function. Many other fun colors, too.
better than flipflops July 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The sole and the string are soft; won't hurt your feet. Great for narrow feet; won't feel too loose like most flipflops. They might feel a little tight at first, but as you wear them, the string gets loose, without becoming too loose. the second knot keeps foot from raising too far away from sandal when walking, so they are stable, and good for longer walks too. They look better than most flipflops.
comfy flip flops July 6, 2008 I have worn the Teva Elixir for several years as the only sandals with enough support for my aging feet. I wanted something softer to wear around the house. These are okay but I cannot wear them all day so I still have to wear the elixirs. I can wear these for a couple of hours but then the soles of my feet start going numb, don't know why, but for a younger/healthier foot these would probably be great. Don't expect the support or the width you get with a Teva Elixir sandal. I had to go up a size, but they are comfortable from the moment you put them on
