Product Description
Chiffon scarf approx 60" x 13". Simple and lightweight, perfect for practice or just as a fashion accessory! Coins and beads are attached with cotton thread, you will lose them over time. These scarves are not quite as nice as the EG-SCRF Economy scarf. They may have less coins, small runs or shaded areas. Coins could be silver, gold or mixed.

the seller shipped the item quickly. but the hip scarf's material is very thin and easily rips :(
Great product at a great price August 19, 2008
You can't beat this price for a good, basic coin-decorated scarf. Perfect for belly dancing practice, or a beginner who doesn't want to spend too much money up-front on accessories.
The product is described as "economy imperfect", but I didn't see any imperfections. The fabric is thin and gauzy, not too drapey, but it doesn't really need to drape since most of it is wrapped relatively tightly around your hips. The color is a really lovely warm orange-gold, almost exactly the same as the color chip for "saffron (color)" on Wikipedia. I haven't danced with it much yet, so I can't comment on whether the coins fall off easily. They do jingle nicely (some other commenters mentioned that their scarves didn't really jingle - I think that the design must vary from scarf to scarf).
I like it enough, I'll be purchasing a few more in other colors. These are a great way to beef up your dance wardrobe and add some color & jingle without breaking the bank!
Wouldn't buy another August 13, 2008
After only 4 classes, I lost two coins; another two the following week. Sure, I could sew them back on. And, for what I paid I can't complain. But, were I to do it again (and I just did; I bought the Deluxe version and signed up for another 10 classes), I'd have bought a good one from the start.

This item was great. Perfect for practice around the house. The shipping was fast. The service was excellent. The product looked and sounded great. If your looking for something to practice in this is it. Again the customer service was wonderful. I would certainly purchase from this buyer again.
