Save your skin June 13, 2008 I purchased these pants as a replacement for an identical pair that I semi-ruined when I fell with my motorcycle a few weeks ago. I was going about 30 mph and I was pushed almost off the road. I ended up sliding a good 25 ft on my left side. I suffered no injury in great part due to the resilience of these pants. The pants took the road-rash like no others I have ever had, almost as good as expensive motorcycle gear.
The pants look good enough for an casual office environment and they fit marvelously well. If you do any type of activity that puts your butt in any danger (literally) I recommend these pants highly.
Great Pants! May 22, 2008 These pants are comfortable and tough, finish stripper dripped on one pair with no ill affect. The size was perfect, zipper works fine, they're great pants so I've ordered a couple more pair.
Super durable, super convenient, super comfort! March 22, 2008 I love these pants! My girl friend found them for me last year, and I have since been wearing them nearly every work day. I own two pairs so they have been washed many, many times and they still look great!
They also make great travel wear! I wore a pair on vacation in NYC recently. While out schleppin through Manhattan I carried all the touristy stuff in the pockets, and I looked good doing it!
I've torn through the knees of one pair, but that took a day of crawling around on a rough cement floor with no knee pads! I still wear them though because the legs are sewn double thick! One more layer to wear out! I love them so much I refuse to throw them out just because I wore a couple holes in them. I'll probably cut them off at the knees and recycle them as skater shorts!
The cargo pockets will make regular work pants feel inadequate. You get so used to being able to carry small hand tools, note pads, cell phone etc... and still be able to bend and flex and work in comfort!!
The 100% cotton fabric holds up well to flying sparks from welders and grinders. I weld in these pants with confidence that sparks won't burn through.
Just love them! Time to buy more!!
Great Work Pants February 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work in construction as a surveyor. I spend most of my days hiking up and down slopes. These pants give the greatest flexibility for moving that I have found. They also don't get shredded by brush as fast as regular jeans. Plus they are lighter than jeans. I own several pairs and they are my preferred choice for work wear.
Very rough material January 13, 2008 These pants are the roughest material of any pants I have even owned. I do like the style however. I am going to try soaking them overnight in fabric softner to see if I can get them to soften up. Hopefully with repeated washings they will get softer as well
